Yes or No to Eyelash Extensions

Eyelash extensions are the angel and the devil at the same time! I have constantly gone back and forth for years with my eyelash extensions and my normal lashes.

Pros for No lash extensions:

You don’t have to go to an appointment every 3 weeks

You can clean your whole face so much better

You can rub your eyes which is the best feeling ever haha

You can switch up the style of strip lashes

You can get a no makeup/makeup look

Pros for lash extensions:

You literally wake up half ready to go

Even when you don’t have makeup on you don’t look half dead

Your selfie game is so much better

You never need mascara

Applying makeup is so much faster

As you can see…it is a first world problem to have but both sides make it a very difficult decision.

To have or not to have…

I just can never decide! I think personally depending on your profession as well as how glamorous you want to be on a daily basis really helps navigate which way to go with your decision.

In my profession, a hairdresser, I do like to look put together so I would much rather wake up with my face half made up then take 10 minutes to make sure my mascara has been applied absolutely perfectly without trying to stab myself in the eye…

Yes it is quite lovely to get home at the end of the day and just rub everything off your face but who doesn’t love to be glam 24/7, I know I do!!

I’m also all about letting your skin breathe, so what I have found that works best for me is to get them for a few months and then take a break for a few months! I just couldn’t decide between having them or not, so I decided to have the best of both worlds.

I recently tried a lash lift which has been amazing but I find myself missing my extensions so much!
